So the deets on the Martha Stewart show.
Biz stone: founder of twitter: martha asks him: why does Twitter not have spell check: do you feel rich: Biz stone says, technology is a natural part of nature. i kinda think she was flirting with him. Also, she was totally name dropping.
Chris Hughes: Facebook founder: martha asks him about him and his ‘little friends”. ha: kid looks like he is 15: he’s actually 25.
David Pogue: NYTimes: very funny: very cool and witty: he was my fav. Had the most to say. gone are the days of email. it’s all about direct and urgent messaging.
Disco music blasting between guest segments, YES!!! I loves it.
Here are all the things that were not very TECHy for a TECH show.
*It’s a TECH show right? You asked everyone to bring their computers, blackberries right? You asked us to log on and Tweet and Crackbook right? So did not realize we would do JUST that. So be prepared and don’t let your wifi cramp! yea, so that happened. We were asked to stop tweeting and FBing.
*You would think that for a TECH show we would get some funky gadget to try out right? wrong! we got books. Two books about twitter.ugh. Come on Omnimedia! get with the program OPRAH would NEVER had let this happen. It’s a TECH show.
*We should have at the VERY least received a goody bag with MARTHA CRAFT goodies. Some glitter for the masses. Gimme the glitter Martha!
* I would have: talked about the new phones out there and how they can really help wih all the faboshness of our society, or maybe I would had a Tweet off.Yea that’s a contest to see who can tweet fastest. have an online contest and watch your audience go into a frenzy trying to answer questions online while being in the audience for you show. Show off the techyness of those in the room. I looked around, there were all kinds of people with all kinds of fun gadgets. Ah well. Maybe if I were on the creative team we would have rocked it.
Regardless, I had fun. My friend will be featured, asking a question, in the show. Check out the Martha Stewart TECH show on October 2nd. I’m the one wearing Yellow in the front row.
I’d still like to be Martha for a week.
